The Great India:
The meeting with New Delhi was a bit confusing ... .I launches me lost in this capital body from sunrise thinking being alone on the street. I'm wrong.
The sun is there to greet me, the crowd is present and horns rang loudly. I rush to my main goal: Find the station to catch a train to Bikaner.
I put blinders on, I do not look at people who slept on the sidewalks by the hundreds, or the "tuc tuc-" who stop to see if I want to take a taxi ...
I rush straight ahead with my 16kg despite dust that continues to rise as soon as gale surfaced. The trash pile up on both sides of the road ... Welcome to New Delhi !!
After more than two hours of "I'm running, I will find the station" ... I get to my goal!
Reassured but overcome with emotions, I do not really know where to turn when I see the world swarming. Many Indians are apparently on vacation because some festivals are held in September.
I talk, I negotiate, I give in, I'm having ... maybe!
My Driver :
It did not take me long to sympathize with my "personal driver" (and yeah!) That I took during the first 8 days of my trip to India ...
Yes I know I fell ... I was supposed to do a round the world "backpacker" mode and here I am with a cab ... No comment !!
I admit that the solution is very tempting: Car air-conditioning, stopping on the road as soon as you want, Indian history and personal anecdotes ... The total !!
I really recommend this solution for people traveling in groups. You go through all the small villages with beautiful places, which shows another face of India. I really loved the proximity to the people and ease of travel !!
Only for people like me, I admit that my budget has exploded but I negotiated a little later on the way ...
The option now will be considered later for me. She is apparently very "safe", contrary to what some people have said to me in New Delhi.
However, it is recommended that the 2AC or 3AC trains.
For the record, the person who sold me the ticket for the first 8 days, convinced me by saying that all trains were full and that the next would be in a week ... He must have tampered with the screen for me bookings show in red ...
the Transport:
I Loved transport: totally crazy! Small taxis with yellow license plates, where Indian bus sleeping in bunks
trucks with loads disproportionate motorcycle without wearing a helmet ...
