: Hablas espagnol ?
To travel in Latin America fluency in Spanish is essential because generally people do not speak English let alone French. Of course, in the run by expatriates and filled group of English travelers hotels, the problem does not arise. But if you want a minimum of authenticity and contact with people while management school! You may have already experienced a language course for teenagers in Spain but nothing beats a full immersion language learning.
There are local schools, but also programs that offer courses in several Latin American cities. You can check out particular esl.ch/fr which has schools in Panama, Costa Rica and Guatemala. Beaches, nature or big city you have the choice of locations which can help you find the environment that will be most conducive to learning Spanish.
Here are three places I recommend for learning Spanish:
1-Listed Caribbean:
Direction archipelago Bocas del Toro in Panama! These small tropical islands scattered in the Caribbean and most are accessible only by boat. For refueling and Spanish lessons you can base in the city of Boca del Toro. And to reward you for your progress spend the weekend on an island for snorkeling, parties, experience the local culture or just sunbathing on the beach and marvel at the surrounding nature.
2-City and Culture:
I took Spanish courses in Granada in Nicaragua, but Antigua was the perfect alternative. Located a few kilometers from the capital of Guatemala, Guatemala City, Antigua is a lovely little town, quiet, charming and exuberant colors, especially during the holiday of Easter. It is a good base for excursions and discover the rest of the country. If you just pick up and do not feel even the adventurous fiber, Antigua will allow you to get a good start. There are a lot of tourists, expatriates, it feels safe. I tasted it one of my best meals of the trip in a creperie held by Breton who could make the best use available local ingredients in their tasty cakes.
3- Peaceful Side:
the Pacific coast of Costa Rica is perfect for surfing but also to discover the fauna and flora of the country. Costa Rica is known for its rich nature and I was not disappointed during my stay! Spider monkeys and howler monkeys, colorful snakes, small frogs neon, large multicolored butterflies, majestic birds ... After class, head to the beach and national parks!
